The Winston

By Ashleigh Synnott

The Winston is well known for being one of the first places to tap into the craft beer market, and now it’s in even finer form with a brand new interior designed by SJB Interiors. The cool, crisp, contemporary style equates to a chilled-out atmosphere where you can relax and unwind while enjoying all the character and charm of a classic hotel.

One of the key features of The Winston is its range of bars. From the classic-style Winston bar to the main one which opens into the dining room, terrace, and pavilions, The Winston is the ideal place for getting together to enjoy a drink and a delicious meal. Depending on the time of year and day, the terrace and pavilions are frequently sun-soaked and surrounded with lush gardens which will help you unwind in the comfortable surrounds.

The dine-in wine list is huge, featuring a selection of local and boutique wines and beers available by the bottle or glass. The cocktails are a real treat – with a Riviera Amaretto Sour a local favourite and a Tommy’s Spiced Cup always hard to pass up. And the Winston have a huge range of on-tap beers, including the local Riverside Brewing Company’s ‘44’ American Amber ale, brewed right here in Parramatta.
