‘The ultimate message of this music and music generally: hope for humanity and love for this beautiful world in which we live.’
- Joby Talbot
Sydney Philharmonia Choirs present Path of Miracles, an a cappella masterpiece performed by a forty-voiced choir for one concert only in St Patricks Cathedral Parramatta. The sublime voices will fill the cathedral with this deeply moving music, inspired by the famous pilgrim trail 'Camino de Santiago' in Europe.
Path of Miracles was premiered in the weeks after the July 2005 bombing in London, and at the time was a healing balm to a shattered city. It retains this power to spread peace and light among listeners everywhere.
The concert will take place at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Parramatta and will provide an intimate space for this pure form of a cappella singing- a specialty of our small and virtuosic Chamber Singers. For those yet to experience our Chamber Singers, this concert is a must.
