Celebrate the Year of the Rat as Lunar New Year returns to Parramatta in 2020 with an exciting program of food, dance, music, culture and art, for people of all ages and culture.
Music, Dance & Culture
Experience traditional and contemporary performances on the main stage, including a Dragon and Lion dance, fan dancing and the internationally-renowned Nanjang and Pan Korean Percussion group who are set to bring Korea’s traditional performing arts to life on stage. Immerse yourself in the fun as Midnight Pool Party take over the festivities with a fusion of electro, dance and hip hop music.
Also featuring singers Yoni Yen and Clarissa Mei, Sydney Yun Yee Tong Dragon & Lion Dance with Kung Fu demonstrations, Sydney Youth Dragon and Association Lion Dance Troupe, Sydney Garden Shire Chinese Folk and Art Group, and performances by Dancekool.
Food & Drinks
Enjoy delicious food and drinks from across Asia including rainbow dumplings from Mr Wangs, Filipino Firepops, Tsuru Food Truck, The Ginger Tiger, Korean BBQ and more. Sweeten it all up with dessert from fan favourites Koi Dessert Bar, Mix Mix Co, and TEBU Sugarcane.

Lunar Land Workshops
Head to Lunar Land for family-friendly fun with a series of free workshops and face painting. Try your hand at drum-making and Chinese calligraphy, and learn K-Pop and hip-hop moves from the Dancekool experts.
It's entertainment all around, with the roaming God of Fortune and Goddess, and Sydney Yun Yee Tong Dragon & Lion Dance.
See it all come to a close with a spectacular firecracker finale with music, light and dance at 9.30pm in front of Town Hall.
