Louis Isaac, a.k.a. Kid Fiction, began experimenting with electronic music early on, recording his earliest work onto cassette as a 12-year-old. After discovering the guitar, he busked throughout high school then formed a reggae band that played curbside from Byron Bay to Sydney. His devotion soon took him from the footpath to the stage and he’s now cemented himself a place in Australia’s electronic music scene.
Kid Fiction’s music is discernible by its diversity, from the darker shades of the UK underground to lush melodic soundscapes, soulful pop aesthetics, and rowdy rhythms of his afro-Caribbean roots. He’s played music festivals including Secret Valley and Subsonic, and toured around Europe with his compositions that are rich with animation, melody and memory.
