Everyone knows that flea markets are a place where you can rummage through vintage, retro and antique items and find a gem for a few dollars.
But did you know you are making the sustainable, ethical choice when you buy second hand? Buying second hand reduces the amount of stuff we send to landfill, and landfill releases toxins and greenhouse gases into our environment.
That's why the Bower, an environmental charity, puts on ParraPickers flea market four times a year. Show your support for this initiative by coming down to have a rummage.
There will also be a free Boomerang Bag Sewing Bee, plus clay-making activities for kids.
