PJ Gallaghers
P.J. Gallagher’s Irish Pub first opened in 1999 as the grandest and most authentic Irish pub to ever open in New South Wales.
Over the years P.J. Gallaghers has combined the old with the new and undertaken a $5 million refurbishment (2004).
As a result P.J. Gallagher’s Irish Pub now boasts a restaurant, four bars, six function rooms, two large beer gardens, two DJ floors, a bistro and more.
Ancient Ireland is alive and well in the upstairs areas; rich wall hangings and paintings adorn the walls amongst shields and swords that nod to the battles that used to preceed the feasts of old.
‘Good food, good wine, good music’ is P.J. Gallagher’s mantra. The choice of available beers (such as Guinness) and the food are both Irish in style. Ronny Ghantous, the Group Executive Chef, has created two tantalising menus for both the restaurant as well as the bistro with meals such as PJ’s Signature Lamb Shanks and Guinness Pie.
All of this can be enjoyed in one of the cosy nooks at PJs whilst listening to good music, such as that played by PJ's regulars, The Robertson Brothers.
