City Library

Parramatta City Library and branches hold a rich collection of materials for use by residents and those visiting the area. The Parramatta Library service consists of the central library at Parramatta and five branches located in nearby suburbs. Whilst in Parramatta, browse through the extensive library collection, including electronic, print and media resources. You can ask the expert library staff to assist you at any time.

 

Relax and read a book or, if you prefer, use the facilities including private study rooms. Excellent technology resources are also available to library members including a wide range of databases and free internet. The website and events calendar will keep you up to date with all the specialised events, talks and programs that run frequently at the library.

School Holiday Activities
Activities for school age children and young adults are held at all library locations. Session times and details are advertised approximately 4 weeks before the program kicks off. Bookings essential as all School Holiday Activities are in high demand and places fill fast. Homework Help
Homework Help is offered to primary & high school students in the Technology Learning Centre on the top floor of the library. This program is conducted at Parramatta and Constitution Hill, and online for people outside these areas.

 

Parramatta: Mon to Fri from 3.30pm-5.30pm during school term.

Constitution Hill: Mon 5.30pm - 6.30pm during school term.

 

On-Line Homework Help: For years 4 to 12, Mon-Fri 4pm - 7pm during school term. Click on the ‘T’ on the library website to get personal help with Maths, English, Science, Study Skills and Research Skills. www.parracity.nsw.gov.au/library.

 

 

HSC Lectures & Workshops
Parramatta City Library run lectures and workshops throughout the school year, covering a range of topics aimed at helping HSC and senior students do their best. Parramatta City Library is serviced by the free 'Loop' bus; the route includes Phillip Street restaurants, Parramatta Station, Westfield, Parramatta Park, Riverside Theatres, Parramatta Stadium, the Leagues and RSL clubs, and Eat Street (Church Street).
