Artists Studios

Parramatta Artists Studios is situated in the centre of Parramatta's CBD in Hunter Street. The Studios offers 14 affordable non-residential and 1 residential studios to emerging and established contemporary artists, craft practitioners and creative industry professionals.

Located next to Church Street Mall and historic St. John's Church, the Parramatta Artists Studios are available to painters, sculptors, designers, new media artists, writers, curators, performers, filmmakers, musicians, dramaturges and poets.

The Studios helps contemporary arts production by providing a hot house for new ideas and an incubator for collaboration. Programs include artist professional development courses, national and international artist in residencies and a regular program of events, programs and changing exhibitions.

It also houses a gallery space, open to the public 5 days per week which also hosts a number of openings during the year.

The gallery is open 12pm-4pm Monday-Friday

Entry is free.

The Parramatta Artists Studios are an initiative of Parramatta City Council and receives ongoing support from the NSW Government through Arts NSW.

The Artists Studios is serviced by the free 'Loop' bus; the route includes Phillip Street restaurants, Parramatta Station, Westfield, Parramatta Park, Riverside Theatres, Parramatta Stadium, the Leagues and RSL clubs, and Eat Street (Church Street).
