Global Action Sports confirmed today that one of the biggest supercross stars on the planet, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, will compete in the final two rounds of the Monster Energy Super X in Sydney at Parramatta Stadium on November 27!


The 2010 Monster Energy Super X will have one of the biggest international rider lineups ever assembled outside of the AMA World Supercross series with a number of the world’s best supercross and motocross riders heading downunder to compete. Get your tickets to the Sydney round of the championships and head to Parramatta Stadium on Saturday night, 27 November, for all the action.

“The caliber of international riders we have secured for this year’s series is testament to the growth of Super X and the recognition it is getting around the world,” said Michael Porra, managing director of Global Action Sports. This year’s series will continue to grow the sport of supercross in Australasia with two New Zealand races and a range of exciting new initiatives at every round.

Each race will once again be televised live on Fox Sports and thrilling race formats for each round will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Did You Know: New Express Ferry Service for Parramatta

Parramatta now has a faster, more regular ferry service that makes it easier to travel to and from the city by water.

 

The new service departs Parramatta Wharf at 7.00am Monday to Friday and is timetabled to arrive at Circular Quay within 55 minutes. The last River Express service departs Circular Quay for Parramatta at 7.00pm. The express service will make just one stop at Rydalmere en-route to Circular Quay.
