The Parramatta Farmers Markets are returning new and improved in 2013.

Parramatta City Council has extended the Farmers Markets annual Christmas break until March 2013.

This extended break will enable Council to expand the Markets in 2013, offering improved products, service and experience to residents, visitors and workers who frequent the Farmers Markets.

The Parramatta Farmers Markets will reopen in March with an exciting program of stallholders, trading as an authentic fresh food farmers market.

Brislington Medical and Nursing Museum

Brislington - a gracious Georgian building stands on the corner of George and Marsden Streets in Parramatta. It is the oldest existing dwelling house in the inner City of Parramatta and since 1983 has been a Medical and Nursing Museum for the former Parramatta Hospital.

St Patrick's Cemetery

At the junction of Church Street and Pennant Hills road is the oldest Catholic cemetery in Australia, the earliest memorials dating from 1822, many of them early Irish settlers.
