Sydney Festival 2012

For ten days in Parramatta, January 13-22, you can enjoy a full Sydney Festival program of events that not only welcomes local audiences but will also have the rest of Sydney jumping on trains and RiverCats to be where the action is.

Riverside Theatres hosts an exceptional line-up of local and international theatre, music and film while Prince Alfred Park gets it's very own Spiegeltent filled with music and late night cabaret.

There's also a massive program of free events, with our free Opening Party taking over the streets on January 14, a free concert under the stars with Dan Sultan, Busby Marou and special guest Kasey Chambers at the Old King's School site on January 21, as well as activities popping up all over the CBD.

Watch out for dance performances in crowded shopping areas, art installations literally growing out of empty shop spaces, free films, plus the chance to get involved in workshops and art-making with local artists including Parramatta Artist Studios. And check out what's on at Switch Digital Arts Centre, powered by information and Cultural Exchange (ICE). An Information and Ticket Booth is open daily January 13-22 at Town Hall Square on Church Street.
