Sahara
Not to be missed is the Turkish Brekky: a mezza plate of olives, fetta, turkish sujuk ( a spicy grilled sausage), scrambled eggs, cucumber and tomato. Turkish bread is baked on premises.
Mamma’s Omelette is also worth a try with baby spinach and fetta.
Locals can’t go past the Sahara Benedict of smoked salmon ‘Pastirma’.
For dinner there’s oven braised lamb shanks with garlic and herb mash ($26.90) or the 'adana shish' of seasoned minced lamb on skewers, a specialty of the house, served with garlic aioli and pilaf rice $21.90.
