Kings Indian Cont. Restaurant & Bar

This newcomer to Phillip Street offers authentic Indian flavours as well as a continental menu. It has been receiving positive reviews from Parramatta diners since opening in late 2009.

The house specialties are the 'Nehari Gosht' of tender baby goat shanks stewed in cardamom scented sauce ($17.90) as well as the "Hoshiarpuri Achari Kukar'- chicken on the bone with aromatic spices cooked in a tandoor ($16.90). The lunch buffet offers excellent value - all-you-can-eat for $14.90 plus complimentary wine or beer!

Kings has a separate function hall which accomodates 250 people so it's good for parties and work functions.

Well worth checking out.
