Hello and welcome to the Parramatta Visitor Information Centre.

We are located at 346A Church Street Parramatta, next to the Lennox Bridge and in the heart of the theatre and dining district.

The Visitor Centre is housed in the same building as the Parramatta Heritage Centre. Together, these two venues provide an ideal starting point for your visit to Parramatta.

For those arriving by ferry, head west after alighting at the Rivercat wharf and take the riverwalk up to Lennox Bridge. We are a short ten minute walk away.

We can help you with guidebooks, maps and local knowledge. The centre's helpful and professional staff know each and every corner of the city; where to find the best food, the best shopping, the best galleries, and the best heritage sites.

There are two resources you will find particularly useful : 1) the Discover Parramatta Visitor Guide, and 2) the hand held map that links into the city's pedestrian signage system. The wayfinding system is marked by bright yellow signs and these are located across the city. They will help you find your way to all the major attractions and experiences on offer.

These resources are available for viewing or download on the right of this page.

Contact the Visitor's Centre on 1300 889 714 or email discoverparramatta@parracity.nsw.gov.au.
